Tasks
Across all countries main tasks were: Streamline Finance process, data harmonization, integrating direct & indirect procurement solution to S4 HANA and educate finance users. The key challenge was to optimize multiple processes to save the company’s labor and financial resources. Besides this, we faced the challenge of localizing the project in 4 countries and developing customized off-the-shelf solution components for each country.
Challenges
Short horizon to implement new SAP S4 HANA Private OnCloud mining focused solution model and empower/ educate key users to adopt to new way of working.
Solution
Using predefined SAP standard mining processes in all the different workstreams and also integrate direct & indirect procurement COUPA tool to have one source of truth and integrate master data and transactional data from COUPA into S4 HANA. Representatives of the client in Spain, Australia, Canada and Switzerland. The implementation of automation at all levels with a wide geographical coverage required a non-stop application of Agile project methodology.
